9 DAYS TOUR SCHEDULE
TOUR SCHEDULE
Day 1, at 06.30 am group meeting and departure from St. Petersburg (not far from the Moscow railway station). We drive towards the Russian border for about 2.5-3 hours. Stopping for lunch (not included in the price) after the crossing of the border.
14:00 – Arrival in Helsinki.* Walking around the city enjoying the local foam, sightseeing! 17:00 – Ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm

Day 2, 10-00 Arrival in Stockholm*, We walk around the city, see its sights, visit the Royal Palace, the museum of one VASA ship, General collection at 16:00 departure towards Germany, through Denmark.

Day 3, Arrival at Wacken DAY 1 (in the morning). Campers are looking for a convenient place for tents, while hotel guests are leaving their luggage at their rooms and going to the festival area as well.

Day 6, 07:00 – group meeting, departure to Stockholm via Copenhagen. Approx. 14:00, arrival to Copenhagen. You’ll have enough time to explore Tivoli Park, look at the Little Mermaid, go to the Museum of Military History and even more! 23:30group meeting and departure to Stockholm.
Day 7, 08:30 – arrival in Stockholm*, Free time. Walking, shopping, visiting the Museum of the Middle Ages. 20:00 ferry departure to Turku (the ancient capital of Finland).

Since 2014, the organizers of the festival have established a rule allowing the sale of tickets to Wacken only as part of a package with travel services. You may get information of our tour packages above!
If you decide to stay longer in Germany, the package may include a hotel.
We are sure that everyone will find a suitable option for themselves, and if not, then contact us so we will carrange an individual offer according to your wishes!
Festivale
Wacken Open Air (W: O: A) is a legendary annual heavy metal festival. This open-air takes place in the village of Wacken (80 km northwest of Hamburg).
You may stay at the hotel in the nearest village (30 minutes by bus). Our daily transfer from the hotel to the festival area departs every morning and transfer you back after the end of each festival day.
If you have a tent, you can stay at the festival campsite. The territory is guarded. Toilets, showers and other facilities are developed good enough to make your living most comfortable. Just don’t forget to bring your camping equipment with you!
Wacken history
Wacken Open Air (W: O: A) is an annual heavy metal festival. The open-air takes place every summer in the village of Wacken (80 km northwest of Hamburg).
Usually, W: O: A is held in early August and lasts for four days.
The festival was first held in 1990 as a small event with only six German bands performing and about 800 visitors.
By 1998, the event had become the largest festival of the European metal calendar and one of the most important in the world, with over 70 bands from all over Europe, North America and Australia.
In 2011 the festival attracted a total of 86,000 participants wich brougth Wacken Open Air right to the metal events’ Pantheon!
As the festival traditionally ends on the first Sunday of August, following year tickets go on sale on Monday midnight. In 2014 all tickets were sold out within 48 hours, for 2015 – in 12 hours! And within in 23 hours in 2016. It even happened despite the fact that the lineup has not been officially announced yet!
Over the past years 30% of the Wacken Open Air participants were foreigners from 30-40 different countries around the world. Half the world of metal fans travel to Wacken to stand in the cow meadows in front of the stages. In 2017 the festival was attended by metalheads from over 80 different countries.
